School Accountability Committee
The purpose of the School Accountability Committee (SAC) is to inform, encourage, and create meaningful opportunities for parents and community members to engage in planning and evaluating the school’s instructional programs and continuous improvement efforts.
The SAC makes recommendations regarding the school’s Performance, Improvement, Priority Improvement, or Turnaround Plan, and meets at least quarterly to review progress and support the school’s accountability work in alignment with the Board of Education’s accreditation contract. Final decision-making authority rests with the school principal or the individual or group receiving SAC recommendations (such as the Superintendent, District Accountability Committee (DAC), or the Board of Education).
As part of our commitment to continual growth, Fox Creek sets student achievement goals each year.
Our monthly SAC meetings are open to the public, and agendas are posted in advance on the school website. Parent representatives are always available to gather your input and feedback.
We welcome and value parent voices—and we are currently seeking new representatives to join SAC and help shape the future of our school. If you’re interested or have questions, please reach out to foxcreeksac@gmail.com.
